Since the quality of existing metro copper facilities can vary, EFM+ was designed specially to overcome non-optimal conditions including bad splices, cut lines, bridged taps, and other noise which could potentially impact service performance. The system is intelligent and adaptive – capable of transparently removing problem circuits from the groomed link in the event that service degradation occurs.
