RYE BROOK, N.Y.—May 17, 2011—Broadview Networks is pleased to announce that the White House Communications Agency recognized two Broadview employees with certificates of appreciation for their outstanding support for the President of the United States during his recent visit to Harlem in New York City.

Earl Curry and Derrick Camp, both of Broadview’s Solutions team, were recognized for the “outstanding manner” in which they supported President Barack Obama and members of his staff on a visit to The Studio Museum in Harlem for an invitation-only reception for 250 people following a fund-raising event in March 2011.

The pre-planning and logistics required to support a presidential appearance are always considerable, especially for the dozens of White House staff, communications and Secret Service personnel who require specialized communications connections. On very short notice, Earl and Derrick leapt into action to install more than a dozen extra phone and Internet lines needed by the museum for the upcoming special event.

“Earl Curry exemplifies the kind of customer service and partnership that customers expect when it comes to providing our communication needs. His knowledge of our telephone system and his ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions have been the reason The Studio Museum has remained a customer of Broadview Networks. It is because of this ongoing relationship established over the past three years that I was able to call upon Broadview and Earl and Derrick to facilitate the special communication equipment requests coming from the White House Communications Agency,” said Shannon Ali, manager of security and visitor services for The Studio Museum.

Citing the outstanding support provided by Curry and Camp, Presidential Communications Officer Steven S. Swanson said, “Your unique abilities, coupled with your superb attitude and professionalism, enabled our agency to provide critical communications for the President, the White House staff and the United States Secret Service.”

Brian Crotty, chief operating officer of Broadview Networks, commenting on the superior customer service, said, “We couldn’t be more proud or excited to have this highest level of recognition of two Broadview employees. Earl Curry and Derrick Camp went above and beyond the call of duty, not only to provide outstanding service to a long-time client on very short notice, but also to meet the exacting requirements of the President and his staff during their recent visit to New York. This is a stellar example of the level of customer service we expect our employees to deliver to all Broadview customers, even on the shortest of notice.”
