RYE BROOK, N.Y.—August 8, 2011—Broadview Networks, a network-based business communications and cloud services provider, announced today that it has won a People’s Choice Stevie® Award in the Favorite New Telecom Product or Service category for OfficeSuite ACD, its Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) and Recording solution for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
The “Stevies” are an annual recognition for excellence in business presented by the American Business Awards (ABA), an organization that organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows, including the prestigious International Business Awards. The American Business Awards are governed by a Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors that features many leading figures in American business.
More than 140,000 votes were cast by the general public from May 12 through June 3, 2011, and the winners were honored at the ABA awards banquet on June 20 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. A portion of the proceeds from the gala event will be contributed to Camfed (www.camfed.org), an organization that fights poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa by educating girls and empowering women to become leaders of change.
